NMA NOC VISITS NATIONAL PRIMARY HEALTH DEVELOPMENT AGENCY (NPHCDA).
The President of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), Prof (Dr) IAO Ujah FNMA, FNAmed, mni, today led members of the National Officers Committee (NOC) of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) for a courtesy visit to the Executive Director/CEO, National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA), Dr Faisal Shuaib.
Members of the National Officers Committee (NOC) in the delegation included; Dr Rasaaq Ayodele Adebayo, 1st Vice President; Dr Daiyabu Alhaji Ibrahim, 2nd Vice President; Dr Philips Uche Ekpe,Secretary General; Dr Saliu Olugbenga Oseni, Deputy SecretaryGeneral; Dr Eric Azuka Anazodo, National Treasurer; Dr Pobe Degri Jauro, National Financial Secretary; Dr Augustine Vincent Umoh, Editor, Nigerian Medical Journal(NMJ); Dr Francis Adedayo Faduyile, Immediate Past President and Dr Olumuyiwa Peter Odusote.
During the visit, the President thanked the Executive Director for granting the request for the visit and further expressed the desire of the association to collaborate with the agency especially in the vaccination of Nigerians against COVID-19, Basic Healthcare Development Fund and the need for greater synergy in the activities of both the NPHCDA and the NMA.
In his response,the Executive Director appreciated the association for the visit and also made a commitment to collaborate with the association in the various programmes of the agency.
