    The ANPA Annual Meeting featured three full-day meetings, providing participants’ knowledge related to the challenges facing minority health care providers in the provision of clinical and therapeutic services for diseases and conditions related to a variety of medical specialties.

    The ANPA 25th anniversary Convention started with an opening reception party organized by the local organizing committee (ANPA Washington DC). Thanks to the Chair of the association Aham Onyike and his executive committee for organizing such a wonderful reception at the Smithsonian African Art Museum. It included dinner, open bar, live jazz, magic show and a private tour of the museum for attendees and their guests. There was a proclamation from the Mayor of Washington DC and the Governor of Virginia.

    The NMA was well represented at the convention. The president of NMA Dr. Faduyile presented a paper titled: “Maternal Mortality in Nigerian women, evidence from Autopsy studies”
