NMA Leadership Visits Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State
The President of NMA,Prof(Dr) Innocent AO Ujah FNMA mni led members of the NOC, the Chairmen and Secretaries of the FCT and Nasarawa State branches, the Vice Chairman and past Chairman of NMA, Plateau State branch to pay a courtesy call on the Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State,His Excellency Dr Emmanuel Akabe at the office of the Deputy Governor.
The President appreciated His Excellency for the warm reception and commended him for his humility.
He also thanked him for attending the just concluded NEC meeting in Abuja, FCT.
In his remark, the Deputy Governor, who had been a past Chairman and Secretary of NMA, Plateau State branch, reinstated his commitment to the unity and growth of NMA.
He recounted his memorable experiences as an active member of the association and his relationship with the Nasarawa State branch of NMA.
He informed the delegation on how he got improved allowances approved for the Medical Doctors in the state.
He promised to sustain his support to NMA which had been demonstrated when the state supported the hosting of the last National Health Summit in Abuja with the sum of N 20million.
