NMA President visits Former Governor of Rivers State
As part of the activities lined for his first official visit to Rivers State,The President of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) Prof (Dr) Innocent AO Ujah FNMA, FNAmed, mni paid a courtesy call on a former Governor of Rivers State and a Distinguished senior colleague, His Excellency , Sir (Dr) Peter Otunuya Odili CON,GSSRS,KCSGG, Pro-Chancellor of Pamo University of Medical Services, Elelenwo,Rivers State at his residence in Port Harcourt yesterday.
During the visit, issues of mutual interest were discussed, especially the building of the NMA House in Abuja and strategies for improvement of medical education in Nigeria.
You may recall that the President of NMA is also the Vice Chancellor of the premier Federal University of Medical Sciences, Otukpo, Benue State.
