NMA PRESIDENT ENDORSES JUBILEE SYRINGE.
The President of the Nigerian Medical Association, Prof(Dr) IAO Ujah, FNMA, FNAmed, mni yesterday endorsed Jubilee Syringe, which is one of the brands and products of Jubilee Syringe Manufacturing Company, located in Onna, Akwa Ibom State.
The highpoint of the endorsement ceremony was the presentation of the endorsement certificate by the President of NMA to Mr Akin Oyediran, MD, Jubilee Syringe Manufacturing Company.
The event, which was held at Ibom Icon Hotel and Golf Resort was attended by members of the NMA National Officers Committee (NOC)namely, Dr Ekpe Philip Uche; Secretary General and Dr Aniekeme Uwah JP; National Publicity Secretary and some members of the National Executive Committee (NEC) namely, Dr Nankling Lamu; Chairman, Committee on Programmes and Protocol and Media Aide to Mr President and Dr Chiedozie Achonwa; Chairman, Committee on Endorsement.
Also in attendance were The Honourable Commissioner for Health, Akwa Ibom State, Prof Augustine Vincent Umoh and members of the Akwa Ibom State Executive Council, The Chairman of NMA, Akwa Ibom State branch, Dr Ime Sylvester Udoh and members of the State Officers Committee (SOC), Senior Special and Special Assistants to the Governor, the Chief Protocol Officer to the Governor and a host of other dignitaries.
Other Guests in attendance included the Chairman of NAGGMDP-AKS, Dr Enobong Akpan and member of his State Officers Committee (SOC), The President, ARD-UUTH, Dr Ekemini Udo and members of his Exco, Dr Udeme Inim, a Medical Superintendent in the state, Dr Ndifreke Ataide to mention but a few.
By the endorsement, Jubilee Syringe thus becomes the 5th product brand to ever be endorsed by the Nigerian Medical Association.
Other brands endorsed by NMA include Pregnacare, produced by MedHeights Pharmacy, Dettol produced by Reckitt Benckiser, Multipro Consumer products produced by Hypro Godrej Limited and Goodnight product brands.
During the ceremony, the President of ARD-UUTH, assisted by the immediate Past President, Dr Paul Walshak presented a souvenir to the NMA, President.
Prior to the endorsement ceremony, the NMA President had visited Jubilee Syringe Manufacturing Company Factory to inspect the facility and also sign the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
