NMA NEC MEETING’ CALIPHATE CITY 2021 – DAY 1
DAY 1: TUES,30TH NOVEMBER 2021.
NMA PRESIDENT ARRIVES SOKOTO FOR NEC MEETING
The President of the Nigerian Medical Association, Prof (Dr) Innocent A O Ujah FNMA, FNAmed, mni on Tuesday, 30th November, 2021 arrived Sokoto State for the NMA NEC meeting holding at the City of the Caliphate.
The President was treated to a rousing welcome upon his arrival at the Sultan Abubakar III Airport. On ground to receive Mr President was the Chairman of the State branch and members of the State branch of NMA.
Members of Mr President ‘s entourage included some members of the NOC and other delegates.
Also, the members of the NOC witnessed the Medical missions taking place at the Primary Health Centre, Arkilla, Wamakko Local Government Area.
Later in the evening, the President , NOC and other delegates were treated to a welcome dinner hosted by the Honourable Commissioner for Health, Sokoto State.
The dinner had in attendance members of the NOC, Past Presidents of NMA, major stakeholders in the Sokoto State branch of the association and delegates to the NEC meeting.
The events continue today with courtesy calls, town hall meeting and a welcome dinner for other NEC Members.
