NMA PRESIDENT PAYS COURTESY CALL ON PROVOST, COLLEGE OF HEALTH SCIENCES,UDUTH.

The President of the Nigerian Medical Association, Prof (Dr) Innocent A O Ujah FNMA, FNAmed, mni on Wednesday, 1st of December, 2021 paid a courtesy call on the Provost,College of Health Sciences, Usman Danfodiyo University, Sokoto State, Prof Sule Ahmad Saidu.
During the courtesy call,which was attended by members of the National Officers Committee(NOC), NEC members,the Chairman of the Sokoto State branch,Dr Mohammed Umar and members of the LOC, the NMA President thanked the Provost for the warm reception and also commended him for the high quality of medical education being offered by the College.
The President used the opportunity to officially invite him to the opening ceremony of the NMA NEC meeting.
He further urged the Provost to continue the good work in the College, while also soliciting his continuous support for the association.
In his response, the Provost, who is also a former Chairman of the state branch of the association, appreciated the NMA President and members of his entourage for the visit.
He informed his august visitors that the College had 5 faculties and a School of Medical Laboratory Sciences. He also used the opportunity to assure the NMA President and his entourage of his management’s commitment towards ensuring that high quality health manpower are produced in the institution.
The meeting ended with the exchange of souvenirs and pleasantries.
